Default converting btrieve to text/mssql - 05-22-2006 , 09:14 AM

Hi!

I got an old btrieve-driven application from one of our clients, who
needs to get the data converted to some format which can be imported
into a mssql server.

Is there any way to do so?

Thx,
Eduard

You will need the DDf files. These describe the field layout in your
files. If you need to build them you can take a look at BtSearch at
www.nssdd.com. It will help you analyze the structure and build the
files. It will also export to dbase or ascii formats.

Our white paper will also help explain the process. Start here:

and click on the icon for the white paper on ODBC access to Btrieve
files.
