Hello NG, i'm currently searching for a method to convert Betrieve (*.Btr-Files) to a common Database format. (comma separated file would be ok) I tried some tools like btsearch32 and btview, but they won't work. Even if i put the wbtrcall.dll to C:\windows\system and add the required section to the win.ini btsearch is claiming that no betrieve could be found..... I'm wondering that even Pervasive don't seem to offer a converting-Tool? please help me, Stefan |

BtSearch32 uses the 32-bit drivers. The wbtrcall.dll is a 16-bit DLL. You could use the 16-bit version of BtSearch with that DLL. If you plan on using the ODBC drivers you will need the Btrieve drivers also. You can download the trial version at www.pervasive.com/downloads. If you download and install this then you will be able to use BtSearch32 with no problems.
