We have setup a computer to be a dedicate Pervasive SQL Server (2000i).
During the night we copy from our main server the entire Database.

We want to use it for report purposes (MS Access)

On this computer Pervasive works fine, and the ODBC, but none of the
workstation can't connect to it.

The computer has the same Gateway and DNS Server IPs like any other
computer connected to the Main Server (win2000 Advance).

It runs Windows 2000 Advance server and it is not a Domain Controller,
and it's connected to our Main Server like any other workstation.

Looking at the C:\WINNT\pvsw.log
i notice the folling line:

Error initializing the SPX protocol. Error code: 6.

If you open PCC then select the Engine then
Configuration, Server, Communication Protocols, Supported Protocols
You will see lines:

Microsoft SPXII
Microsoft TCP/IP

change to

Microsoft TCP/IP
Microsoft SPXII

Stop/Restar server

Fixed!!
