I've got some software here that was built for 95 and fails to run on
any NT-like system.
If the software and/or Btrieve will run faster? Not likely on the same
hardware. With the additional functions in Win2000 I'd sooner expect
the opposite and if Microsoft did do some optimizing you'd probably
fall back to the previous answer.
NT locking mechanisms are different from those in 95 and may introduce
serieus issues in multi-user mode. You'll probably want to upgrade
your Btrieve to Pervasive.SQL to face these issues.
