Hi!

We are having the following Problem in one of our applications: We are
connecting over ODBC, and another application is connecting over
Btrieve API. The legacy Btrieve application is the owner of the DB
schema. Unfortunately, this is even a different company.

The Btrieve application defined all keys with the Btrieve Null index
attribute on. This makes them useless for ODBC. We have tried several
suggestions from Pervasive.

We duplicated the indexes for ODBC, we changed just the ones we need,
and so on. The problem is that the other company does not really care
about this, and so every change is a hassle.

Now my question:
Is there beside the Btrieve API any way to connect to the db without
going over the Pervasive SQL engine? I would like to be able to use
the keys from Btrieve without modification.
