There's only been a handful of books published by formal publishers,
including Jim Kyle's "Btrieve Complete" ($35 with diskette), but
nothing more current than Btrieve 6.15.

In the unpublished world, you have the Pervasive manuals themselves
that are included with the product -- these are quite good with the
newer releases, and getting better each revision.

Goldstar Software is also are working on creating a library of books
covering various versions in depth, including some components from our
Service & Support class. However, I expect this to be at least several
months out, at best.

Is there anything specific you are looking for?

You can alsways start with the manuals. If you have lost the hard
copies they are installed in electronic form with the product (in your
"Start" menu) and are also available here:
http://www.pervasive.com/library

If you are wanting to develop software for it you should probably
start here:
http://www.pervasive.com/developerzone/

If you just want to learn SQL, well, for the most part SQL is SQL so
any SQL book would at least get you started. The other thing about
SQL is that there are vendor specific differences but the basic stuff
is the same.

Database design is database design and there are books on that as
well.
