alter view statement

can you alter views?

i was using drop view then create view

but i was told that there is a ALTER view command.

where can i get information about this command?
i only found alter table

I've never seen an ALTER VIEW statement. I'm not even sure what the
syntax could possibly be, since views can be quite complex...
