Dear All,
I want to ask how to statistics I/O number when using the BDB, such as
how many pages are read from disk to excute some operation.

I think db_stat is what you are looking for:
http://www.sleepycat.com/docs/utility/db_stat.html
The cache statistics will give you an idea of the I/O characteristics.
