Default DBXML index "users guide"? - 04-06-2006 , 06:31 PM

Having read "Using BDB XML Indices" in the DBXML Getting Started guide
I can now create indices and at least take a look at how this
influences the query plan etc.

I can't help but feel, though, that this only scratches the surface.
Does anyone have suggestions as to where I should go in my search for a
deeper understanding of the indexing system and how best to take
advantage of it via XQuery etc.

Thanks.

/Kim

There's a bit of information in a series of blog articles I wrote here:

http://blog.parthenoncomputing.com/d...ion/index.html

But the best way to get to grip with the indexing is with
experimentation. If you come up with any specific problems, try asking
in the DB XML mailing list - there are always people willing to help
you optimise your queries there.
