Default DB_LOCK_NOTGRANTED_EXCEPTION - 02-01-2006 , 06:19 PM

Hi All

I am using the Java Collections API for BDB. Every now and then for a
read operation I get a series of DB_LOCK_NOTGRANTED_EXCEPTION.

Any ideas what causes this ?

Thanks in advance
A

Hi,

You didn't acknowledge that you found the reference in our
documentation so here it is:

http://www.sleepycat.com/docs/java/c...Exception.html

Are you doing updating? If you can't figure out what is causing the
Exception, please
provide more details about what you are doing like how you are doing
updates and weather you are using transactions.

Ron

Yes I am updating. I am using Transactions and I am using the Java
collections API. I am new to BDB and hence kinda lost as to what I need
to look for. Any pointers to nudge me along would be great.

Thanks
A
