Default db->open() fails with DB_DIRECT_DB - 09-08-2006 , 03:58 PM





Hi,

While tuning my application I enabled direct I/O for an existing
database and got the following error when I tried to open it:

read: 0x101c02a8, 4096: Invalid argument
DbException: Db:pen: Invalid argument
Aborted

When I turn off DB_DIRECT_DB it works fine. Is there some compatibility
issue that's not given in the docs? I'm running v4.4.20 on PPC64-linux.
