Default Berkeley DB Licensing - 02-14-2006 , 02:10 PM

Can anyone here that is familiar with the licensing costs of Berkeley
DB please give me a hint as to what they are?

I've searched through past newsgroup posts and it would seem from all
the discussions that my group would need a commercial license of BDB
for our project; due to the fact that we plan a wide distribution of
our software, however for 'free'. What I would like to know about is
the calculation of the license fee. Is it based on software size?
number of copies distributed? cost of software to end users?

Clues would be appreciated.

Thanks
