You should ask questions about SAP DB on the SAP DB mailing list
(http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general) as the paths of SAP
DB and Adabas D have long parted.

This is scheduled for version 7.5, which is planned for Q4 2003. Functions
can then be written in the Stored Procedure language.
