I've just installed the NPP Personal Edition and now I want to connect to
ADABAS D 13.1 via ODBC. There is an existing ODBC-Source for my database,
that works well i. e. with OpenOffice 1.1.3.
Using the Natural Configuration Utility I created:
DBID 101 - SQL - ODBC:<DSN-Name>
Then chose Natural- New Source - DDM with
DBID 101 - SQL - OK
Table Owner: ADABAS
Table Name: DECISSION
Table Owner and Name are exactly the same as in the Database. *Normal*
SQL-Queries work with *SELECT * FROM ADABAS.DECISSION WHERE ...*
Natural shows up the database logon-screen. So I type as allways the user
name and my password.
Instead of getting connected to the database I get an error message:
NAT6386: Logon to SQL database failed.
UserID and password are typed correctly (case-sentisitive) and will
establish a working connection for example from any other frontend.
How do I get a working connection to ADABAS D??
What is wrong??
