Sorry to bother you all with whith what is a possibly simple question. I had
XE-Universal installed on a CentOS server at home to do stuff outside of
work. I lost the mounted file system /usr/lib/oracle (HDA failure) just
afrer install. New disk, remount no files installed, but oracle insists it's
there. No backup as this occured after install (10 mins after) before backup
to DDS3.

My question is where is rthe rpm insatll package looking for it's dependancy
check, and is it possible to remove the entry that is causing Oracle to say
it is already installed?
