Default Spell Checking added onto Windows-based Oracle 8 or better - 05-26-2004 , 02:09 PM

Hi, my name is John Tytler, I'm the author of a stand-alone Windows
application that does spell checking amongst other things. It's called Spell
Catcher Plus.

I'm looking for someone that will download and install my product to see if
it can spell check data entered into form fields on a Windows based client
before being added into an Oracle database.

I've tried doing this myself, but it's really tricky installing Oracle - my
PC is grinds away - just building a new database took an hour on a 1100 MHz
Pentium III. The problem is most likely related to memory - I only have 128
MB in my machine.

In any case, rather than me continuing to try installing Oracle on my
Windows machine, it would be a lot easier for someone (perhaps you) who
already has Oracle on Windows installed - to install my spelling checker and
see how it works with Oracle.

My installer is under 6 MB, it takes only a minute to install if you have a
high speed connection. Spell Catcher works with most applications - I just
need to find out if it works with Oracle on Windows.

As thanks for helping me out I'd be glad to give you free licenses.

You can download Spell Catcher Plus from this page:

If you do give it a try, please let me know what you've found out wrt Spell
Catcher correcting field data in an Oracle form.

Thanks,
John Tytler, Author - Spell Catcher Plus

Please note - my e-mail is not cheers1959 (AT) hotmail (DOT) com, I just use that to
throw news snoopers off. My real e-mail address is formed by putting john
before an ampersand and following that with rainmakerinc.com.

Thanks,
John
