Default removing service on Windows 2000 server - 01-10-2004 , 04:26 PM

A deinstall of Oracle 9i on a Windows 200 Server did not deinstall the
OracleServiceSIDNAME. When I reinstalled I changed the SID name so now I
have two OracleServiceSIDNAME.

How do I manually remove the unneeded service?

Thanks

PS

It is stopped and set to disabled.

J

Do this at a DOS prompt

oradim -delete -sid XXXXXXX

where XXXXXXX is the sid you want to delete.

If you forget the syntax, type ORADIM and hit enter.
