I want to know if there is any db hosting service available for remote
access from desktop application. I have account with Yahoo but the
data base service is not available for remote access. Only the
applications executing within the Yahoo can access that database.

Hello Mahmood,

Many providers offer mysql databases (search for them on Google). Not
sure about Oracle
