Oracle directory to access external files (tab delimited) - 09-11-2006 , 08:17 AM

Hi All,

I am trying to load a tab delimited (text file) with the help of a procedure. To access these files I have to create an Oracle directory.

I want to know that can I create a directory in oracle server which points to a folder which is present on a mapped n/w drive.
