Default Oracle compared to Access - 08-04-2004 , 11:19 PM

Does anyone have a good URL or info whre Oracle and Access are
compared to one another in performance, security, cost etc. Before
you jump on me I know Oracle is a Cadillac compared to Access the Ford
Fairlane. I need this info to complete a school project. Thanks.

No comparison. Why don't you go to each company's web site and read about
them. If you can't do that then you deserve to fail the project.

Appreciate the non-helpful information you asshole.

I did find some URLs that specifically compared the two products and
they were very useful. Made an A on my project.

People like you should just keep their fucking mouths shut if you
don't want to assist someone asking an innocent question. Some of us
work full time and go to school at night and don't have time to go to
every fucking website and read everything there. If someone has
already compiled the infomration one is looking for then that is
useable for school project research.

So in closing. Fuck yourself.

Testy aren't we. Like it is everyone else's fault that you work and go to
school. So did I BFD. I was mature enough to do my own work and get good
grades. So you blow up because someone doesn't give you the answer for
free. You will go very far, NOT.
Have a nice day. Into the kill file you go.
Bye bye.

I gave him direction as to where to get the information. From his question
it was clear he had never used either product and knew nothing about it or
databases in general. (one is a commercial server based database and the
other - the database part - is a client side file based database) He is too
lazy to learn anything and is more interested in cheating. (not doing his
own work) I was encouraging him to do his own work, but he lacks ethics -
his problem not mine. Probably a marketing major.
