Default OCP 9i or 10g - 08-05-2004 , 10:54 AM

I am planning to take the exam on OCP 9i, after knowing that 10g exam is
open now. I am thinking if I should take 9i now then the upgrade exam. Or I
should take 10g now.

The situation is that I already finished 9i training from Oracle Unversity.

What should I do? Any suggest?

Also, is there expiration on 9i exam?

9i is what employers will mostly ask for, and 10g is much different in many
aspects.
Meaning that if you have 10g certification and I have a 9i database, I don't
know if you have all the knowledge to care about it right. Unless of course
you've been in the field long enough to be knowledgeable about managing a 9i
database, But if your cert card show you have 10g and only have it for a
month...

I'd go with 9i first, 10g later

My 2 cents
