Default newbie: access to u01...u0X in Ubuntu Linux - 09-18-2007 , 10:23 AM

Hello,
I would like to install Oracle 10g in my Ubuntu Linux. I have read in a
book that Oracle needs access to /u01.../u0X. What does this mean?
I have no such directories in my system? Should I create them?
(Personally, I don't believe it).
Could you help me?
Thank you!
