First thing - go to technet.oracle.com. Create an ID. There is a
link at the top of the page that takes you to the documentation.
Read the Concepts, Administrator's Guide, Reference and SQL Reference.
Then continue on with the Backup and Recovery Roadmap book. The
current documentation set is much easier to read than previous
versions. You can also download the database at Technet. Create a
database and come back to this forum with your questions.

Go to education.oracle.com. You can either schedule a class or get
Self-Study CD ROMs.

There are also dozens of books available. Don Burleson's site has a
lot of E-books you can download http://www.dba-oracle.com/. Lots of
good Oracle info at www.dbazine.com. You can also go to
www.oracleeducator.com and order one of my books.
