ok here is my dilema, i need to create a database that is going to
have to interact with a webpage, the database is going to consist of
information about the world- countries, cities, provinces, population,
etc... the biggest problem that i have is i know nothing about
creating databases but i really need to get this done I am in the
process of starting my own website and can not afford to pay anyone to
do this so i will have to learn and do it all myself. can anyone out
there help me please, i know i'm asking a lot but i see all the help
that everyone provides for everyone else here and i know not where
else to turn, I am a computer savvy individual with over 4 years
experience troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, software, and
networks, so i should be able to pick on things rather quickly any and
all help is greatly appreciated, thank you everyone....

If you are looking for solution .... It seems like you will have very
limited amount of data. I would not think about any database
Take a look to XML.I think it will fit your task much better

If you would like to learn Oracle that way, just get documentation and read
it. I think everyone began from there
