Default Creating a database - 12-30-2004 , 08:38 AM

When I create a database, it does not show up in the Enterprise Management
Server, only in the Standalone. How do I create one so that it shows up in
the Enterprise Management Server?

Thanks.

You can't. You need to have the Intelligent Agent running.

Thanks, Daniel, but it is running. Any other suggestions?

Check the syntax of your listener.ora and make sure
the instance in question is listed therein.

Also look in $ORACLE_HOME/network/agent/services.ora.
If the agent's detection routines completed successfully, there
will be an entry in that file for the instance.
