Default Web Page - 08-16-2004 , 01:04 PM

I have created a Web 'page' in MS Access based on a database. I can
view the page in IE on the same computer. When I move the files to a
server to test them I cannot open the Web page, or at least the data
is not visible, only the header. What am I missing? Does Access need
to be installed on the server too?

Thanks in advance.

Bud,

Yes, Access needs to be installed on the server. Check with your hosting
provider as if this is available. You might need to change to the
database that you host provides.

Bud,

The server would need to be a Windows server, not unix. For example,
http://www.godaddy.com has a hosting package for $9.95 per month with
Windows server and msaccess or mysql database.
