Here is the deal, I am running an old application called Faser, this is an energy billing and tracking tool from the 80's - 90's. The back end is Sybase SQL Anywhere Database Engine Version 5.5.05 Build #2509. We are going to replace this system in about 6 months or so BUT until then I have built an Access 2000 interface that automates several tasks that are currently manual. Problem is I can't append the updates to any of the linked tables.

I get the following error message:
[Sybase][ODBC Driver]Unable to connect to database server: authentication violation (#-98)

I haven't been able to find a clear cut answer as of yet and I hope that someone here may have a solution to this issue. Thank you.
