Does anyone know how to subtract time and place the answer into
another field in MS Access?
for example the fields are:
Start is text hr.mn where hr is Hour and mn in minutes, all text
Finish is text hr.nm where hr is hour and nm in minutes, all text

start could be late one day and finish could be early the next day.
example: start = 11.00 and finish = 01.00
total time then would be 2 hours and field three would be 2.0 (hours
and tenths of hours)
