Default SubForm Control Events - 09-16-2003 , 05:58 AM

Hello Access Gurus!
I am developing an application in A2K.I have a subform in which
3 fields exist. The link between the main being an ID field. The other
two fields are both text fields one for the system and the the other
system number.

I want to control the subform events in the sense, some of the system
contain only numeric entries and hence i should prevent users from
entering non numeric characters. When the users enter manually,if they
try entering non numeric characters for certain systems then a message
shld flash and the focus shld remain on the errant entry.
The second is when i take a daily dump of data from a flat file ,the
Systems table contains both numeric and non numeric entries. My
requirement is ,when i scroll the navigation buttons in the main form
,whenever there is a non numeric item in the system number it shld
color it as vbred or some color(to highlight it).Is this possible?

I need help as i am trying to solve this for past two days.

Thanks

Rob
