I'm getting tired of the 6 - 9 hour delay between submission and
posting of messages. Plus, the activity here seems to be way down, 2
or 3 new messages per day. Is there a more robust Access group out
there that I can check out?

The two most active for general Forms issues are:
Microsoft.Public.Access.Forms
Microsoft.Public.Access.FormsCoding

around a hundred or so postings most days in each....
