Default Secure Database - 09-24-2003 , 01:29 AM

Help,

I was using the secure database wizard. It installed a WIG on my database,
then I lost the file and password. I have a large database that I use at
both home and work. When I try to work the database at home I can not save
or add any tables or queries. It states that I do not have permission.
Does anyone know how I can work around this or crack it??

Thank you for any help you can offer

dpm

Sounds like you overwrote the security workgroup file. By default
named system.mdw. If you can access the database at work but not at
home, I suggest copy the *.mdw file and replacing your home *.mdw with
the work one. You could have more than one .mdw file on your system
but the shortcut link to the application would have it included int
the path statement identifying which .mdw it needs.
