Reports: Skip Redundant Group Footers? -

Hi, Folks:
I'm building a sales report that returns results unique to the login
ID of the user. (Sales reps only see their territory, their managers
see everyone's, etc.)
The report cascades down four different groups:
[SalesRep]
[Open/Closed]
[Country]
[State]
Each group has a summary footer with totals and percentages, but most
users will only be pulling up one rep (themselves), and one or two
states at a time. That makes two or three of the footers redundant.
But the footers are necessary when a manager logs in, who will see
figures for several reps/countries at a time.
Is it possible to hide a footer if it represents totals for a group
that has returned only one record? (ie skip [SalesRep] footer when
report returns only one rep's info, skip [Country] footer if all
records are within the US, etc?)
Any advice would be MUCH appreciated!
Thanks,
