I', a relative newbie to access and have just converted a Dbase app to
MS-Access. My problem is I am sorting a database on a date field and
then adding records as they come in. In dbase, by default, the
secondary sort position would be the order in which the records were
added. When I add a record in access, the record seems to be added as
the NEXT to last record - trhowing the sort order out of whack.

Is there any way to get the record to add as the last record? Am I
doing something wrong. I add by clicking on the * key on the bottom
navigation bar. What I lack is consistancy in record placement.

Any suggestions will be gratefully attempted.
