This thread's been removed from my news server (Giganews) but I wonder
if it's exactly what I'm after.

I'm wanting to be able to build a SQL expression from variables
obtained from a dialog box using various controls (combo boxes, text
fields, etc) and then used in a DoCmd.RunSQL statement. I'm not a VB
expert by any stretch of the imagination so I need answers to be in
clear terms.

Thanks VERY much in advance!

You need to do what==Append record, Update record, Delete Record??? Syntax
varies with each action.
