"Retrieve passwords?" Could you clarify?

It is possible to hack passwords, as clearly indicated by the number of
third party Access' security crack software products that are (or used to
be) available. I don't seem to see as much on the subject lately -- maybe
the people who used to buy them decided there's not that much work being
done in Access that needs to be "cracked"?

An experienced Access developer can readily reimplement most "normal
business-type applications" just from seeing them run at runtime, so
security and passwords really don't do much for you, anyway.
