Hi, Ray

I'm working through a book on constructing an interface. I have used other
controls like combo boxes without any problems. But with the option box, I
get the message the moment I drag and click on on design page with the
option box, so I don't even know what it's like when it operates. I get as
far as setting the boundaries of the box and the error message appears.I get
a similar message when I try the subform/subreport control. Is there some
error in the Wizards?
Thanks in advance.

Peter.

I am fairly new to MS Access and wanted to start using some of the
controls.
Most of them work, but when I try the Option Group control, I get the
following message:

"Your code contains a syntax error or a Microsoft Access function you
need
isn't available.
If the syntax is correct, check the control wizard subkey or the
libraries
key in the MS Access section of the windows registry to verify that the
entries you need are listed and available.
If the entries are correct, you need to correct the MS Access utility
Add-in
or the file acWzlib. To do so, run MS Access or MS office setup to
reinstall MS Access. Before you reinstall, delete the Windows registry
keys
for MS Access utility add-in and acWzlib"

There is no code--I'm just dropping the control into the design page. I
looked in the Registry and found nothing that resemble the control
wizard
subkey or the libraries key. I searched for the file acWzlib with no
success. I reinstalled MS Office, and it made no difference.

What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Peter.

PS
I'm using Office 2000.

Hello Peter,

What are you doing with the "Option Group" control? Do you have
more controls in it like a check box, etc.?

Also, where are you putting the option group control? You say
design page, is that on a form or report?

Waiting for more information.

Regards,

Ray
Sorry Peter,

I don't think I have an answer for that.

Regards,

Ray
