My other problem was within Access, when I use a simple expression in a query. When I run the query, I am told of a "compile error in expression " which is Error number 3075. In this case the the expression was Left([tblImportCredits]![SEASON],2). As a doublecheck I used the expression builder to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. The same error occurs in when i use many other expressions like int, iff, isnull etc. Can you find out? It may be that the solution is similar to your last one. |

Hi there, I recently installed a new machine for one of my users which is running XP Pro SP2 with Office 97. He has come to me this morning with a couple of problems he is getting when using Access. The first was that it wouldn't give him the option to import Excel files, but I found out that re-registering some dll's solved that, but he is still getting a problem when trying to build a query. As I'm no Access expert I thought I'd seek some help from anyone who might have an answer :-) I got him to e-mail me the problem which is pasted below: My other problem was within Access, when I use a simple expression in a query. Do any other dll's need to be re-registered? |
