Default new user....wish to add a list box to form that drops down to allow checking one or more choices. - 09-19-2003 , 10:47 AM

HI,
Im new and got a few tables for a dance studio db. I wish to have on a
student reg form, a drop down box that lists (vertically) ~ 13 class
choices (that come from a table called 'classes' that each have yes/no
and check box .
Can someone explain how to do it? my dummies book and help files
aren't getting thru to me

Jack

Open your form in design view. On your toolbox menu (which should be
floating somewhere near your form, not on the top with the other
menus) select combo box. Click where you want to put the combo box on
your form. This should start a wizard that will walk you through the
steps of defining what you want your source table to be (in this case
'classes').

Thank you for response.
When I have done this, I get a drop list on the form that splays out
the fields horizonally. How do I get a drop down list box with choices
vertically (each chosen field is listed to choose or not on top of
eachother and can be scrolled down to see all if necessary)?
