Default Need some serious help - 06-27-2003 , 01:37 PM

Hi,

I have recently started taking projects in databases. I dont have much
experience with them . I have a situation here ... p lease help me with it.

i have a Ms access database on a remote machine running apache server. Lets
say the ip add is 123.123.123.123 . And i want a visual basic form to
connect to that database and do the usual database operations such as select
, insert etc..... I am not very clear how will the connection string look
like. I am using visual basic.NET to develop my front end. Is there a way i
can connect to a remote Access database given the Ip address or the server
name. Any help will be highly appreciated.

regards
vivek
