MS ACCESS 97

I know there is a colander addin for Access. However you cannot enter or
post data to a date on the colander. I want to build a colander based on the
input from the user and display the data on a colander gird. How do I find
out what day of the week the month starts on for any given month and year?

Sorry about the misspelling. colander = calendar
