Default Moving to next line for order entry - 06-10-2004 , 01:27 PM

Hello,

I have an db that uses a popup form for entering orders from an inventory
item. The popup form uses three subforms to show the progress of orders
through the system (i.e. entered, on order with vendor, received and
billed). When orders are first being entered, there may be multiple
customers that are ordering the same item. I have set the first subform as
the point where the cursor goes when the popup form is opened. The problem
is that there may be an order already there (this subform is in datasheet
view) and someone that is not paying attention may overwrite that order
(there are only four fields that need to be entered to create an order).

I am wondering if there is a way to have Access first check to see if there
is already a row (or rows) used and then move the cursor down to a new
record at the bottom of the sheet.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Albert
