Default Information on Access and SQL - 11-24-2003 , 09:54 PM

I have been saddled with a new project at work in where I have to
migrate data from acces 97 to a backended SQL server and keep front
end either in Access or re-write in VB. The second part of this will
not be so tough, but the first part seems like it is going to suck
alot. Can anyone point me correct direction as to where to start
working on this process? Is it even possible?

Thanks

Steve,

There are alot of people doing this. I would suggest you organize your
project into discreet logical chunks, go to experts-exchange.com buy
some points ($12 for 1000 points) and get some help from them on the
seperate questions you have. You will find that 500 points will get
you all the attn you need and that 50 points will still get you an
answer to a simple question. Im not suggesting you are asking in the
wrong place, just that if you will need guidance through an extended
project that would be a good forum to find it in.

regards,

John
