Default how to put an animated gif working? - 01-17-2004 , 11:16 PM






when i try to insert an animated gif it would not run, just shows as a pic
in the view mode, why? and how can i put an animated GIF so it plays when i
run the database?

Jim, Access does not support animated gifs. There is a way to animate
them though. You will need some type of program that you can pull the
images out of the gif, like the free MS gif animator. From there you
can insert each image into access and use the timer event to cycle
through the visibility of each image to simulate animation. It is
kinda painfull to get the timing right, but its cool when complete.
