Question Help with Access report please... - 03-23-2006 , 11:30 AM

Can someone please help?

At work we recieved some new program that is an MS Access application.

While we were making some minor changes (because it was used at a different facility) we have managed to mess something up a little.

When we got the application there is a screen that would allow us to print reports by simply putting in the date. That part is simple enough.

What we were attempting to do is change one of the titles on that report so went into one of that particular field (I can not think of the name off hand) and changed that name. Now when we go to search & print that particular report it is asking us for the "perameters".

Does anyone know the code or script (if I am using the right words) I can place in there to get that funtion back up and running?

Thanks again for your help,

Ron

This type of thing is fairly specific, and there is no generic code that you could drop in place to stop the program
from prompting you for parameters. If you received this app via Zip file or email, perhaps you could simply unZip it
again (or whatever) and undo your changes. If this isn't feasible, you'll likely have to contact the person who
developed the application to fix it, or hire a consultant/developer to do so.

Default Problem Solved - 03-24-2006 , 03:39 AM

Thankyou for your help....I took another look at it after I got some sleep and figured it out.

In one of the forms I changed one of the columns back to what it was and that solved the problem.

Thanks again for your advise...
