I use MS ACCESS front end back end design. Multiple computers. There
is a form that uses a table for calculation purposes. When ever the
table is open on one computer, the form does not work anywhere else(MS
access freezes). When the table is closed, the form works.

What version of Access? Is the database split or are you sharing a
single instance of the application on multiple machines?

The database is split. All the tables are on the server. All the
queries modules reports forms are on the local machines. I use access
2000. The form that freezes has an input field with comma delimited
numbers. These numbers correspond to a table. The form looks up the
primary key of that table and converts the number into the
corresponding text field using a module. When the table is open on one
PC, the form freezes on another.
