Default Declaring Field Names when Pasting Data - 06-26-2003 , 07:05 PM

I have *alot* of variables in an excel spreadsheet that
I want to paste into new variables. This easy to do, copy and paste.
However you have to declare the variable field names first!

Does anyone do this frequently and have a trick to
declaring all of these field names maybe with just a cut and paste.
Approx 20-30 field names.
Is this something that might be suitable for sql? (I haven't been
pressured until now to learn alot of sql)
Thanks,
wuzzy

I know I can just import as excel file but would prefer the above
pasting more direct for my cituation.

I've tried reading your request several times, and I'm still not sure what
you are asking. If you rephrase your question, perhaps with an example, you
might get an answer...

What exactly do you mean by having "variables in an excel spreadsheet"?
