Hello.

I am a relatively new programmer to Access... appreciate any
assistance you can provide on my problem.

I have a large database (containing about 45000 records) which I need
to break into smaller tables (Excel spreadsheet to be exact). The way
that I need it broken down is by similarity in a specific field (it
should break down to about 500 groups).

Can you tell me how I can go about creating a automated process for
this task?
