Default Access Query crashes and burns - 01-23-2004 , 10:43 AM

I have a table on SQL server 2000 which I link into with Access (2000
format but opened in XP). I've created an Acccess Query and added a
where clause for a date field any date (e.g. #15/Jan/2004#). Upon
clicking the run button access just crahes and shuts down. If I remove
the where it works fine.

I've tried using other date fields (in the where) and the same
problems occurs but I can use filter of non date fiels in the where
clause.

Unfortunately using aview on the SQL server and linking it to Access
it's a possibility since the date in the where is dynamic and wil
change (as it's part of a search screen).

TIA

Colin
