Hi all,

I am using MS Access as an issue tracking database that auto-emails the
issue on record save.
I would like to bring up a dialog box to find a file name (I have on that
returns a path) so I can use this variable and add an attachment to my
e-mail.

Note: the attachment works currently, however, it is hard coded and has to
be named in a certain way.

Is there an easy way to get a file name using access?

I've never used this, but it will do what you want.

If you are sending e-mail from Access and you are using Outlook, you
will need a free program.
Download it from here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/clickyes.html

If you don't know why you need it now, you will the first time you try
to send e-mail from your Access db.
