Thumbs down Insufficient virtual memory problem in Ingres - 09-04-2006 , 06:38 AM

We are having Compaq ES40 Server , OS- Compaq Tru64 UNIX P5.1A. with 4GB RAM in our org. I am not able to create image of ingres application due to following problem

The compilation of '/ingres/ingres/abf/oppms_sst/oppms_new/pr_mon_perform.c' failed with status '1'. This could mean either that the compiler could not be run or that it ran and returned an error. (E_AB001E)

Fatal: Insufficient virtual memory to continue compilation.

I have increased the OS kernel parameter "per_proc_data_size" to 26835456 and "shm_max" to 4278190080 and taken shutdown of the Server but the problem has not got resolved .I have also increase the values of kernel parameters max_per_proc_xxxx sizes by 10 times of the default value defined in /etc/sysconfigtab but image could not be build..

Can anyone suggest what to do...pl help ...SOS...

Sandeep
